I am in the process of looking for a new laptop and buying one. I have found a possibility that I like, but it has an AMD radeon hd 6630 graphics card. From what I can tell/have heard, it sounds like the comparable Nvidia card (gt 540 or gt 550???) is better. Is this true? If so, to how much of an extent is it true? Is there anything better about the AMD card, or does buying a laptop with the AMD card definitely mean I am losing out compared to having bought a laptop with Nvidia choice? Thanks.
I apologize if there is already a thread which clearly and specifically answers this question.

the difference between the HD6630 and the GT 540 is quite minimal ... there is a difference ofc. but if u like the machine with the HD6630 you aint missing much in GPU performance terms ... but compared to the GT 550 ... it is quite a big difference ... So which one we are talking about here ?
