I'm considering buying the new XPS 13. I know it has thunderbolt 3, but I just want to make sure that it's compatible with eGPU's. I don't know much about connecting them, and I was worried that I may have to do a bunch of tinkering to get it to work.

It will work with any thunderbolt 3 eGPU. The aorus box is probably the best option now that the GPUs are at record prices.

The Razer Core tends to be very hit or miss with the XPS line, so avoid that one. The Akitio Node is probably the best in terms of compatibility.
