    Pinging @Khenglish and @Prema

The fact that the GM2xx cards don't work on M17x R1 and R2 has been bugging me forever. Perfectly capable of displaying over DisplayPort and HDMI, however LVDS refuses to work without color depth problems. Is there a way to tweak color depth on the vBIOS itself? The M17x R1/R2 can use the 8 bit LVDS RGBLED display, but for whatever reason, it seems GM2xx is limited to 6bit LVDS, which makes absolutely no sense as all kepler cards work fine over 8 bit LVDS as well as GM1xx cards. @Baddemichl was able to output 980M to the RGBLED display using a modified 6 bit LVDS cable rewired to the display to get around this limitation, but there has to be a better way!

Nobody knows? I took a stab at modifying MXM structure and tried to force spwg instead of the default openLDI format and there was no change.
