The X1600 256mb performs 30-40% better than the 128mb one!!!

Heh. Well, take that 30-40% with a grain of salt. It depends on the game. If you only play Quake 3, you won't notice any difference. But if you plan on playing the latest games, well...

NO!!!!! thats not true, you'll see an increase of about 10% depending on the game, oblivion u will see a greater increase, and on older games - none at all.

Depends, on new games it is 30-40%, unless you play games before 2004 then the 128mb is fine, otherwise get the 256mb or you will be sorry. :p

If you want to play the latest breed of games, I'd highly suggest a 256MB card so you can enable larger textures and/or more settings.

Your going to see a much higher minimum framerate which is always a big help to gameplay.

Also the 256 MB version will give you more "future-proofing" as far as gaming goes.

Currently 128 MB is about the bare minimum for decent gaming on current games.
