so technically i'm asking will games like cod4 or crysis work on this???
-
It's fine. Don't except high-end gaming like on Crysis or anything. COD4 should be just fine!
-
what about the geforce 8800? or 8700?
-
lol the 8800M GTX is in it's own league. It's the current mobile GPU king!
It performs two and a half times a 8700M

A lot of people here are only looking at the 3dmark06 results. but crysis was running very good with patch 1. i did have most settings on high and oced the card a little bit.
the card is actually quite the same as the 2600xt version, it´s just downclocked. The card did not get very hot, and i had no problems while ocing.
All in all this card is indeed good for gaming, even crysis. And buying a rig only to play crysis maxed out is such nonsense. Even highend desktops are having problems running the game maxed out. but this discussion is soo old now, and the countless threads about it speak for themselves. -
Yeah... what I meant was don't expect high-end gaming on games like Crysis. As in very high on crysis... not happening.
-
Unless you have a desktop with a 9800 GX2....very high on crysis....not happening.
