I'm a medium gamer & play a few of my favourite games like NFS :MW, AOE3etc I recently bought a Toshiba Satellite A100 series laptop.....
    These are the specs....

    Intel Core 2 Duo T7200 (2.0GHz)
    1GB DDR2 RAM (I shall upgrade to 2GB ASAP)
    256MB nVIDIA Geforce Go 7600....

Will I be able to play all the new games in medium settings??
Games like NFS:MW works very well for me with medium high settings & AOE 3 works well with Highiest settings....And I only play a very few games....

Will I be able to play games like F.E.A.R, Doom 3, NFS Carbon in Medium settings??

I was first looking for a Dell Inspiron 9400 & I know that it has one of the powerful GPUs (256mb nVidia Geforce 7900Gs)...But I did not like the design...much as I heard it gets easily scratched.....Moreover I'm a Student and have to travel...So, I didnt want a 17inch Heavy & Bulky Laptop....

I know that the ASUS G1 is the best 15.4 inch gaming laptop out there....
But I live in the Miiddle East(Kuwait) where ASUS noteboooks are very rare...
And I'm travelling to India & was worried about ASUS warranty there....

So I went for a Toshiba Satellite A100 series laptop...as it is readily available here & has Int. Warranty...

Once more I'm not a very serious gamer & only play my favourites like the NFS & AOE series....

So are my specs good enough for the new games (Medium settings)?

Can I overclock my GPU? If so how???

You can overclock the GPU.But it might be a bit risky too.I suggest you forget overclocking if you are traveling around, it might overheat and possibly get damaged.

F.E.A.R. will need some specific tweaks (don't use AA, turn down some of the extra lighting options), but Doom3 should run fine. It's older in the effects department than F.E.A.R. is.

Oh, I actually don't want to overclock....I just asked....I'm satisfied with the card.
Will I be able to play NFS carbon? I might not be playin F.E.A.R anyway as I'm not very good at First person shooter games.....

I usually play Real Time Strategy games like AOE3 & Racing games like NFS....

    Will Warcraft work well??

If you mean WoW, then as Mr. M said, yes you will definitely not have any problem running at high settings. It isn't a very demanding game and you don't need a high-end machine to run it.

A 7600 Go will play Carbon very well, just don't get a Vista machine. Carbon has some known bugs with Vista and EA has been slow patching it up
also you'll need to find and download the widescreen patch as Carbon doesn't natively support 16:9 or 16:10.
