Is this a sign that my graphics card is dead ??? In volves STALKER CLEAR SKIES INFO ! HELP PLZ !!

Basically,

I am playing stalker, Im at the part where you have entered CORDON and you go to the base of stalkers and they have captuered that general. You have to kill two people who may rescue him for him to spill the beans on the whereabouts of a toolbox full of money.

Hes spilled the beans, now im taking the toolbox to the merchant and as I go down the steps, its always crashes, ALWAYS!

now as soon as I load my save.

It just turns off the game and goes to my desktop, as if I closed the game myself. No warning no nothing??

Help would be appreciated !

 

I highly doubt it's a hardware problem. Your best bet I think would be to try installing a different graphics driver and/or reinstalling the game.

 

You most likely have to reinstall the game. When errors can be reproduced and occur in the same place, it usually means that a file is corrupt, for instance a sound or graphic that is supposed to play at that point.

 

I think this is the problem, I have a saved game about 1hours worth of gameplay behind and that doesnt randomly close, Il just continue that saved game !
