Is this good? I've been playing some games and my laptop heat is under 90*C most of the time when i am playing. I also have a cheap lappy cooler that i dont think does much to cool down the graphics card but does help keep the HDD cool.

    So this is the results.
I play = Under 90*C (all settings on max in LOTR BFME 2 usually 1hr or less long)
I stop playing just exited the game the laptop drops to 50*C or lower. Is that good?

    Thanks in advance

nothing wrong with that... as long as the temps do not exceed 90C, then everything below is fine.

Not really helping us much, need at least a little info about the laptop + gfx card, im guessing its a 8600m GT? if so that sounds about right.

Depends on the GFX card really, my 8800M GTS on my HDX idles at 44c and tops out at 72c before the fan kicks in and levels at 66c.

My gfx is ati 3470, with P8600

The laptop usually runs for 4 plus hours with medicore usage and when i am just on the internet IMing, listening to music and typing documents everything is under 50 most of the time. It is just the gfx card that usually goes to the 50.

You say, under 90° "most of the time ". Does it actually max over that?

if the temp goes up without the cooler, i'd suggest you to switch your driver.

So far, it hasn't been over 90*C (the max was 87*C), but i played just again for a few hours :) (so addictive lol..) and it was under 70*C (highest was 68*C) with medium settings. So i think that is safe.

Im measuring the heat with this program CPUID Hardware Monitor. Is a better program for this than the one that i am using? I want one that i can see the temperature while im gaming if that is possible?

I think anything under 100 Celsius is good.

Yeah, and over 100C is better because then you can boil water. Imagine the possibilities - eggs, noodles, potatoes... mmmm
