I am checking temps using the nvidia display and it says that my core temp is at around 60C and it was at 80C when i am playing Oblivion. I have the msi-16332. It has the 256mb Go 7600, 2gb ddrII 667, on a 15.4in screen. To hot, and is there a way to cool it down. The fan is pretty much always on, and warm air is always blowing out. it is a new laptop, so the inlets/outlets arent plugged.

    **Stock drivers, and no overclocking**

its normal. when it gets past 90C and stays there... then you should get worried.

or go clean out the vents and fans (with compressed air and Q-tips)

yeah! when i play orange box and other games as such, the gpu temps ramp up to 79-80 and stay there (occasionally going over by about 3-4 degrees during extra long play sessions). but as soon as i quit it drops to aruond 6X degrees. looks normal to me!
