Lately my system started having a strange issue, which I am pretty sure is related to Sapphire Trixx. After booting up, I start getting strange 'screen tearing' whenever I mouse over certain elements on the desktop, browser, objectdock...etc... The only way to alleviate it is to 'change something' in CCC, such as turn on/off LCD OD. I'm pretty sure it is Trixx releated because after I get it straightened out, then go and re-adjust clocks, it start doing it again. Also if I close out Trixx and start it back up, it starts doing it again. Anyone else notice this?

    I have that too.
Even when I ''overclock'' my gpu with the max stock values i get this flickering.
If these values reach there ''physically'' and not by forcing them through the software I have no problem at all.
A few secs after that i get a ''display driver stopped responding and has recovered'' message so i dont think I can overclock at all.
I get the same thing with amd gpu tool so I guess its the gpus fault.

Hmmm...Trixx is the only thing that causes it with mine. I can top out at 740mhz with MSI afterburner or CCC but it doesn't cause this issue.

Trixx seems to be working excellent on desktops, and has a lot of good options for AMD cards, but for some reason it doesn't cope good enough with mobile cards.. all kinds of crashes appear, not worth the trouble.

    Just use MSi Afterburner

Ive gone with Afterburner and I unlocked the overclocking.
Its pretty stable where the trixx wasnt and now i have to find out the max frequencies.
The only problem is that when I close the afterburner and enable ati powerplay again, the gpu falls at its standard 100/150 MHz @ 0.9v and horizontal lines appear on the screen.
If i disable powerplay, then the frequencies go to the maximum official ones, 550/800 @ 1.05v and then the horizontal lines dissapear.
That means that after every use of afterburner I have to restart (even if afterburner is not working) for powerplay to work normally again.

Could someone explain how to get Afterburner to unlock past 740mhz?
