I have a dell e1505, and my gfx card, a X1400 runs decent. But from reading various threads on this forum, this card seems to be actually decent, and thus ive heard people running games like BF2 on med-high settings getting playable framerates. However, For me, games like NFSU will run only at 60 fps, and dips down to aobut 40 in high volume areas on high. also, Lotr, battle for middle earth runs only on about 30 fps, at all high. How cud a graphics card capable of running BF2 on such settings only manage mediocre FPS on older games.
Also, are there any good drivers for the X1400 on vista? I have the ATI CCC, and it says i have driver version 8.13....
Thanks in advance.

Hmm... my driver version is 8.362.0.0. Trying running a Windows Update to catch a new driver. I don't seem to have any problems with mine...
Edit: Actually, go to the Device Manager, right-click on the X1400 and click update driver. Windows Update might now catch it. (There are settings for this.)

Look around the dell support site for a newer Mobility Catalyst. As far as i know the latest to be is 7.5.
