    Even on medium settings the game is choppy, playable but not pleasant to look at all.

    Just bought it off the Steam sale. Not sure why a game from 2009 is giving me this much trouble.

    Seems it could be related to some PhysX issues on AMD hardware.
    Have you tried disabling it in the options menu?
    Should easy it up on your CPU.

    That definitely seemed to help. Still a bit of random tearing, but much better.

    I still need to tweak my gfx settings to get it to do it's job a little more :)
