    yes you can play oblivion with that

    it's a very good video card in a notebook

    battery life would probably be in the range of 1:45-2:30h depending on usage

    Silly boy, you double posted, just like what happened to me a while ago. I have played oblivion on my MBP. Everything on medium/high (shadows on medium, view distance up, textures on high, HDR on, no AA) and it runs at around 20-30fps in cities, and up to 60 indoors, which I found pretty impressive. The huge massive battle at the end forced me to revert to bloom to keep it playable.

    That is the ASUS z96j rebranded, so just check out all the Z96j threads for a better idea on the unit.

    But as the posters above mentioned, the x1600 is a pretty good card.
