Anyone played this game yet? After being so disappointed by Star Wars the Force Unleashed 2 I needed a game to kill some time with until Black Ops came out. So I decided to give Blood Stone a try and it turn out to be a really fun game. Something to kill time with over the weekend.
The graphics are nice and the game runs really smooth. I'm am doing a second replay on a harder difficulty. The only issue I have is that when you plug in a 360 controller the action prompts are not displaying the 360 buttons but keyboards buttons instead.
Anyways, this game plays like Splinter Cell Conviction, but faster and the driving missions are like burnout, overall I recommend this game as a rental or something to entertained you over a weekend.
Check out a short gameplay vid I did: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9VoqmSqVe3g&feature=player_embedded

Yup I just finished it on the weekend (by keyboard & mouse). Overall it was a pretty fun game but I'm really disappointed by the ending.
IMO it's not even an ending, it's more like they suddenly decided they ran out of time on making the game and decided to randomly end it by saying "James Bond will be back..." lol

I didn't like it to much.
I found the combat system ok, but the take down feature was very boring, and the whole game was (for me) very repetitive.
I gave up half way through it. I will say I did love the story line. It would of made a very good movie. -
I was woundring I should buy this game, well now, I'm not going to.

That looks decent, but kind of a generic shooter based on that short video clip.

The takedown feature is a big improvement over the one in SC: Conviction: there's much more variety and the animations are more fluid. Shooting is ok, it's your basic third person shooter. Story was pretty bland and uninteresting: it was missing a big villain instead of several little ones. The scripted sequences, and specially the vehicle chases, kick .

I really didn't liked the cutscenes..
It was really dull -
I spent a few hours with it. It's an aggressively mediocre collection of modern game design mush. Don't get me wrong, it's a competently made game but nothing more. Could be fun for some to kill time with.
What bugs me the most about it though is the "detective vision" that you get by looking at your cell phone. Much of the information presented in this mode could easily be part of the UI in the normal view mode. But it isn't so you are encouraged to leave the game running in a blurred techno haze with bond staring down at his phone like a not so subtle commentary on modern society's technology addiction. -

Since I got COD, time to uninstall James Bond.
