I said in my list that there was not much interest in the firegl and quadro chips and that its not really worth my time.
Here is your chance to proove me wrong.
Remember these chips are not for gaming, your better off spending less on a normal one for at least the same gaming performance.
So post your interest, and if there are enough of you I will build a list of chips, or perhaps another of you will![]()

I play BF1942 and GTR on my FireGL V3200 128MB.
I did some research, and it seems the V3200 is based on the X600. It's somewhatunderclocked.
It might be helpful to note which chips the FireGL and Quadro cards are based on.
Seems like, the deal with FireGL and Quadro is all about stability (underclocking) and certified drivers and maybe more work on driver development.
I won't buy another FireGL or Quadro card. At this point, game cards offer plenty of performance for the graphic designer that does "some" 3d work in Maya, Studio Max or Cinema 4d and the FireGL and Quadro cards are for engineering departments that pound out CAD all day long. -

If anything Meaker, you could add a small subsection to your Grahpics Charts sticky for professional GPUs.

As far as notebooks go, the best professional GPUs are the Quadro x500M and the FireGL v5200. So far, I have noticed no problems or differences whatsoever in the Quadro card, and it actually seems to perform a little better than the 7900GS in benchmarks, but they are definitely overpriced for the performance. I just got the M90 cause I got a good deal and it has better looks and quality than an E1705. But I don't think I'll buy a professional card next time. The Geforce's are just so much cheaper for pretty much the same performance. They aren't ISV certified though if you need that.
Judging interest for a new professional chip list....
