Just got Just Cause 2 and its amazing. I turned down shadows and anti A and im getting 65-90fps 1080p single 6990m.

The map is unreal, it is like a world in scope. never seen a map quite so big.
The graphics look awesome great detail and lighting.
    Performance is Amazing
Vehicles are fun to drive(helis bikes ect)
    You can sky dive
The fun part of GTA series is blowing stuff up, this game rewards you for causing choas.

I think this is my new favorite game, anyone else like it?

I prefer SR3 by a large margin myself.

I played JC2 and it was like ... ehh its fun.

SR3 however actually gave me the urge to get on and play and had me sitting and playing longer than I had planned.

    Co-Op mode HUGE bonus.

When I played the game demo when it first came out, my opinion was the concept on chaos was a nice touch. I later bought the game and amused myself with the amount of stunts that are possible.

I'd suggest checking out all the easter eggs. Fave one is an item inside a beached whale, when I first encountered it I had a "is this a game glitch moment?" and laughed when I found out via YouTube.

This is yet another game on my "bought for $5 and haven't played yet" list. It's getting quite long...

*sigh* physics physics physics..which is half the fun in open world games! and they did not do a good job for this one! plot is not really exciting and not really professionally done like GTA's! personally I rate it 6/10!

Played JC2 & SR3 and I prefer SR3 as well. Imo JC2's open world, physics & graphics were awesome while it lasted, the thing that I really hated about JC2 is that the main story is insanely short and the side missions aren't particularly fun and gets repetitive fast. :(

I haven't played SR3 so I can't compare with that, but I really enjoyed JC2 for the most part. After a while it does become somewhat repetitive and later in the game any chaos you cause brings in tons of enemies (which I guess is more "realistic" but means that you're running away and fighting helicopters a lot). All in all I thought it was above average due to the gigantic map size and unique play using the grappling hook.

I like JC2, but most of these open worlds end up getting boring because lack of variety. Games like Oblivion and Skyrim do it right though. There's enough variety in the characters, storylines, challenges, cities, etc that keep it fresh for a while. Even GTA IV grew old fast for me.
