Just Got X3 Terran Conflict - Need Help!

So i just got the game, wow its so complex took me freaking like an hour to find one mission!
but i am really enjoying it i would however like it if my 360 controller fully worked with it as the right analogue stick as well R2 and L2 dont work with it
i am trying to get the controls as close to perfect (not having to use the k&m) as possible but with this happening i just cant, i have it so that i can speak to the people on board the vessle or the station using Select and i have the X putton for speed and the up,down, left and right done but i have like 11 buttons that i could use for something going to waste - what is the best way to get the controller to work with the game and what would the best controller set up be?

 

You need to hit up the Egosoft forums for this one. There are a hundred different scripts and mods that make it a great game. Vanilla X3TC is meh.

 

i am not talking about the game - i trying to get it to work fully with my controller

There's a tech help forum for that too on their site. You'll need to register your key but they're pretty helpful.
