I just updated my video card on my desktop to a ATI Radeon X1650 Pro. A first it wouldn't install the software and it was giving me a "try to setup your display adapter with a standard vga driver before running setup" so I went to the ATI website and downloaded the drivers from there and it seemed to work. Could someone please explain to me what that error msg meant? Afterwards, it told me that I needed Microsoft.NET framework 2.0...I installed it and everything seems ok too.

My issue it that (being a semi-newbie) the font on my pc seems blurry and not crispy..it looks like it's out of whack. I currently have it on 1280*768 with a refresh rate of 60 hertz. My monitor is a LG L1710B. How can I make things clearer/crispier? What are the best settings for me? Also, is there anything else that I should install from the CD that came with the card? There are other things on the CD but I didn't bother doing anything since I was having some issues with the original install. Any advice or thoughts would be appreciated....thanks.
