I forgot that TOB already had TF2, so I bought TF2 a while back for $10. But now after I finally got though HL1 (lame I know...), I want to get HL2 and the episodes. TOB right now runs for $30 around here (Calgary), HL2 for $10 and EP1 and EP2 together for $10.

What should I get? And if I get TOB what happens if I already have TF2?

    Thanks!

You get an addition copy of TF2 that you can use as a gift.

Do the calculation and see which one is cheaper.

Wait, I heard that the 'gift' policy only works with HL1 and EP1? Or are the keys separate for each game?

Calculating it all out, HL2 and the EP pack together are cheaper (20), but with TOB, I get Portal, which would be pretty nice to have...

There are several mods and extra maps out there that make Portal well worth $10.

tf2 and portal alone are worth 10 dollars, imo.

I've seen OB on sale for 6 dollars few months ago. Yeah, it's getting old as well. 6 dollars deal was a steal.

I'm hoping for a 'Portal Pack' when Portal 2 comes out, so I'll get it then. HL2 and the EPs are going to keep me pretty busy since then, I'm more of MP gamer than a SP gamer.
