Heh, I was thinking of getting this game. Just wondering though, is the gameplay like Gauntlet Legends?

i played the first and it was ok. it was cool to be all of thse different guys and powers, some were unfair thougha nd teamwork wasnt as important as it should have been
hopefully this one will clean that up so you have to work as a team, and no it is not like gauntlet legends, but some similarities

This game is pretty good. I like how it has my native widescreen rez as an option (1680x1050) and is pretty playable at that rez with 4x AA on my Asus Z71V.

I strongly believe a gamepad is needed for this game. I got an Xbox to PC usb converter so now I use my Mad Catz Xbox Wireless Microcon with my laptop.

Also, I don't think walkthroughs are necessary unless you want all the secrets/hidden stuff. It is extremely hard to not advance, as most of the time the objective is highlighted on your map. I guess it could be difficult if you don't have certain powers on your team. I recommend keeping Jean Grey, as she can both fly and use Telekinesis to build bridges.
