I have Win7 RC on Boot Camp and installed KOTOR a little while ago without any major issues. I did a quick grab after updating KOTOR to get a no-CD crack for the *.exe and left it sit on my computer for a bit.

This past weekend I had some free time so I thought I'd restart that great game. Lo and behold, I kept getting lockups and generally getting kicked out of the game. After about an hour I gave up and left it.

I plan to try later tonight using the normal EXE with the CD in the computer, but if that doesn't work, I'm not sure where to look for possible problems (short of Googling and ferreting through other forums). Running in compatibility mode doesn't help at all.

I'm running the RC that was released before the RTM version.

Anyone experienced this or have any suggestions?

Per the forum rules, discussion of cracks is not allowed here at NBR. This thread will be closed because you're discussing illegal software. Try the game normally (ie with the ORIGINAL .exe and CD in the drive), and then make a new thread if you're having issues with the game itself.
