This shows up in my console at start. I think a server downloaded something into my folder. I've gotten autobanned a few times. One has a website and it said something about a cheat cfg. I tried to get unbanned, but they didn't listen. Anyone know anything about this?Code:Convar r_rootlod has conflicting FCVAR_CHEAT flags (child: FCVAR_CHEAT, parent: no FCVAR_CHEAT, parent wins) Convar r_eyeglintlodpixels has conflicting FCVAR_CHEAT flags (child: FCVAR_CHEAT, parent: no FCVAR_CHEAT, parent wins) Convar r_skin has conflicting FCVAR_CHEAT flags (child: no FCVAR_CHEAT, parent: FCVAR_CHEAT, parent wins) Convar mat_softwareskin has conflicting FCVAR_CHEAT flags (child: no FCVAR_CHEAT, parent: FCVAR_CHEAT, parent wins)

I dont know if this helps but here is my story.
a friend of mine of mine challenged me to a 1v1 and took me to an achievement server because it was empty and after that I couldnt go play on my favourite servers because it downloaded something. I had to delete my tf2 folder and then copied my files from my backup hard drive and hey presto.
if you dont have a backup and cant find the core problem then I suggest deleting local files and redownloading the lot. Keep in mind it isnt that big of a download if you have the other source games. All my source engine games start downloading at like 70% -
reinstalling now
That's really annoying though. At least it didn't dl and hook a hack to my game. Valve let's servers dl anything and then doesn't back you up when you get vac banned for no reason. Valves policy on vac bans is rediculous. It's a scam imo. -

I completely removed, including deleting the remaining folder before I redownloaded and this still shows up in my console. How is this possible?
Keep getting TF2 bans
