    I keep getting kicked when playing online...every couple of mins.....and it just says punkbuster..........what is happening???

    It would be helpful if you can catch the PB message...

    Make sure you have the latest version of PB installed...
    Try different servers...
    If you use no-dvd crack for BF games... don't... PB will detect that... Instead, use mini-images...

    Are you using a no-cd patch? Could be part of the problem. Depends on where you got it from, tbh. Have you updated your Punkbuster? Have you checked the servers requirements? I.e. do they have reserved slots?

    Yes, there were reserved spots, and i tried to update but it said there are no new updates?

    EDIT: Ok, srry there was an update, my bad, thx for the help guys... :)

    after you manually update punkbuster, right click on the bf2142 icon and check always run as administrator. you may also have to uninstall and reinstall the game then update punkbuster.

    OK, well i updated and now i just get kicked sooner?

    when i update i get like 6 things on my desktop

    ^^ BF2142 man have not played that in awhile so fun, but its the kind of game I cant play casually I have to play all the time and be really good or not play at all.

    If I cant get my phantasy star universe account up and going I may have to give 2142 a run (although I am mad at EA for there lame change of contract for those who got the game from them via web download, now you have to pay them every 2 years to hold the game for you)

    I had the same problem a few months ago... I never solved it. I just played on non punkbuster servers. That was with Vista and I'm going to see how it works on XP.
