    I have a GeForce4 MX 128MB in my PC
    256DDR RAM
    Pentium 4 2.6 Ghz

    and i got average 40fps with Doom3

    with a card that cant even run it full screen

    just go this site http://www.techspot.com/tweaks/doom3/

    its a long process to tweak the game fully
    give some time and brains while twaeking and you will get a great performance boost(i got about a 200% boost in fps and also quality)

    the tweak settings will help doom 3 recognize your computer correctly and run the game according to your pc's potential(9% games lack this quality)
