    Hey all,

Saw an ad offering this for steam, and i'm a sucker for co-op shootem' ups (especially zombies)!

So is this worth the $19.99 I believe it was? I absolutely love Left 4 Dead but with the lack of new levels right now I kind'a want something to fill the gap until some come out.

So those who have played, is it good? Better than L4d?

    Thnx!

Sounds like you should get it Vaath, you answered your own question in saying you like both co-op shooters & zombies.

I agree L4D got boring to me fast, though after taking some time off and playing TF2 for awhile I had some good TF2 games last night and the night before with a friend.

I cant believe they have L4D2 coming out.... way too soon and way too much of the same, new characters and new stages/weapons done make it a new game.

Every person I have run into that actually has Killing Floor likes it, but I know from videos and stuff it just doesn't look that good, but then again its only a $20 game, its supposed to be like a UT3 mod that went all the way into its own game.

    Thnx,

Ya sadly I do not think I will purchase a L4d 2, I loved the first but I felt the sequel is too quick. I mean I have always counted on Valve to make patches, add-on content etc. Seems like they just gave up and wanted to get the next round out :(

If you don't mind me asking whats your steam name and all, would love to play a round of teamfortress 2 with the people from the forum. I still log many hours of that, never gets old!

Ya for $20 bucks what do I really have to lose like you said.

im not gonna pay more than 15 bucks for l4d2... maybe on a really good weekend special but no... I am definitely gonna pay for a new game... perhaps as an expansion I could justify it but no way in hell...

    EDIT>
    Forgot to answer original topic.
It is an absolutely awesome multiplayer game... only downside for me is that *because of the graphics, the majority of my friends dont want to play this game and I only really enjoy online shooters with friends and not on public servers very often...
So get a good list of friends ;)
