I really want 2 play a good zombie game and the price rly doesnt matter. Which one's a better zombie game?? L4D2 or killing floor. And since L4D2 is built on the source engine, im assuming tht killing floor will hav better graphics?

Why would you think that? Valve's source engine is updated every year, Killing floor is based off of the Unreal tournament 2004 engine. While, it does look quite nice imo, it's no comparison with l4d. They're both vastly different games. L4D has linear levels you go through in COOP, and an awesome versus mode, killing floor is also a lot of fun, but it's a COMPLETELY different play style. There's no comparison between them. Also, killing floor doesn't have any zombies in it, they're all more like hellspawn creatures. Think, like DOOM 3 style hellspawn.

If you played Left 4 Dead then you know what your getting with the second one. Killing Floor on the other hand has a completely different feel. Two weeks ago Killing Floor was free for the weekend on steam. Its fun for a while but personally I spent more time with Left 4 Dead.

I personally liked Left 4 Dead more, because of the replay value of the game, excellent co-op, fun versus mode, and great game overall if you have never played it before.
Killing Floor, I tried to get into it, yes I TRIED. It failed on me, the game itself is overall decent, but the gameplay isn't that great in my opinion it's hard to get into, because you need an extremely good team to beat one level. It's pretty difficult, and there is no cross hair for aiming, unless you zoom in with your weapon. Overall I didn't really like the feel of the game. It plays a lot like COD 5 zombie mode, but without the building and crappier graphics.

Killing Floor is great for $20. You do need s decent team for it to be fun. Plus the userbase is small and more experienced. L4D is filled with noobs with zero tactical sense. It drives me crazy. If you ever play with me, you'll know because I'm always yelling at people for making stupid mistakes. I tend to intimidate new people in that game with my demeanor.

Both games are good on their own. Single story co op is what L4d is good for and multiplayer 6+ players is what killing floor is good for. If you can get both because that all have their pro and cons and both are really fun to play.

L4D2 is much better, especially the Versus mode, if it's anything like L4D (which it will be) it's gonna be epic especially with the new campaigns, weapons, and melee weapons.

left 4 dead is better because it is objective based where you are told to go to complete missions/objectives. So it gives more of a direction which makes it more fun and easier to play.

Killing floor is just kill x amount of specimens which isn't bad but gets repetitive, however it seems like none of you have played objective based maps on killing floor which are really fun but rare. The Hive map on killing floor is a good example of it, which mimics the events of the RE movie quite well and is a quite long map/story(bad if you die early though).

If you like killing zombies or zombie like creatures just get both games, their worth it.

I'm gonna be a stick in the mud and say KF is better than L4D1, but L4D2 is ofc, better than KF.

KF has versus mode (via mod) and you can play as the zombies (via mod) - KF has great free DLC and cheap DLC (major content is free - $2 for new skins and such). The perk system is awesome (basically weapon specialization). KF already got a new perk added to the game (for free) and its been out less than L4D. Even when it first came out, KF had more weapons than L4D.

Personally, if you have the money, I'd get both. They both excel in different areas.
