Ive only just discovered this game and it is one of my most anticipated titles now. I immediately pledged support and downloaded the alpha on Steam yesterday.

Their homepage is here, apparently they couldn't get any publishers a year ago so went the Kickstarter way and received a massive and overwhelmingly positive response!

Here is a video showing the game.

Here is one showing the combat!

Here is a 50 minutes play through by one of the Devs!

    WOW!!!

A Kickstarter game could create an RPG with high res textures, details with lighting and shadows that don't look jagged and flicker?

I hate Bethesda so very very very much.

I'll be honest, it reminds me of Chivalry: Medieval Warfare... but like leveled up.

I don't know if it really interests me though, but it definitely is pretty impressive.

Oh yeah, I nearly forgot about this game. I heard about it way back in the spring I think it was. How far along is it now? Still Alpha?

You should try the Alpha out, it has a few quests, battle, dialogue, music, horse and lots of people around. It's a very impressive alpha with full HD and graphic settings. Some people have played it for many hours. I have a quest to steal something, investigate a burning building and train with a swordsman. The branching dialogue is also fun, I insulted a villager and he attacked me with a sword.

Is it an open alpha? I though you had to own the game to participate in alpha testing.

It's not an open alpha but what they have done is worth while and they say they will release updates every 2 months. The alpha from 0.3 to 0.4 is already 4 times bigger.

And it truly proves to me how incompetent Bethesda and Oblivion are...

    Or

How incredibly terrible their Gamebryo expulsion Creation engine is.

It is still in alpha but apparently the quests can take you 5 hours.

looking forward to this game too but it's more graphics intensive than Witcher 3?

anyhow, I watched some gameplay video. Sword fighting looked pretty complicated but no dodge/roll? Voice acting is not really impressive. I only listened to a few lines though.

also, is there character creation? I saw on the facebook page they say you're the son of a blacksmith so probably stuck with that role/gender. Well, female character doesn't really make sense so.
