L4D2 Preorder Group

Okay, you know the deal by now. Four guys together buy the 4 pack therefore paying only $35 for this game instead of $40 or $50 (retail).

How this will work is, after buying the game, I will send a copy over Steam using your Steam IDs. However, I will need at least 2 out of the three guys buying into this deal to send me the $35 first through paypal to my account before I go ahead and buy the package. What I ask is that you check you're PMs to get my paypal email account. All you have to do is check you're email associated with Steam to receive the gifted game. After receiving it, it should be connected your account. My steam ID is theros123 btw. Also, a free plug for the NBR community on Steam. Join it!

also- you should go ahead and buy it and distribute copies as people join in! that way you can get access to the demo immediately there will be plenty of demand here.

 

I moved it to the gaming forum. Group buys aren't for the Marketplace as they would technically violate the BST rules.

An update for the original post - You can send the copy of the game to everybody soon as you buy it even while its still in pre-order status so they can preload the game.

Also I think in this case they get access to a demo too.

I did not know you can give the game right away since I never had done it before when I posted the original thread.

That said.... I guess I am in. I wanted to pass on this one but if I do not get it now $35 and want it later and have to pay more I will regret it.

I think the only reason I am getting it is borderlands does not support 3 monitors while L4D does, so I assume L4D2 will also (as does TF2 and I think L4D2 is based on the TF2 engine) 3 screen gaming is too important to me

 

Yep, they do. I thought everyone knew this by now . Anyway, I am going to buy the package tonight. Though, I might have to take a slot away if I can get a friend of mine to buy in.

Figures I'd see this thread after pre ordering on the Dell site...
