L4D2: The Passing DLC

Valve released their DLC today (finally):

Free on the PC, woop. Aside from an obviously new map they added some weird modes.

No clue how to get it. I'm sure Valve will make it apparent when it's actually released, probably later today.

But it looks awesome

 

I don't think it's released yet, but it is coming today.

 

I will play this again after 2 months Damn BC2.

 

They're supposed to release it at noon PDT, but it is valve and they have their own "time". You will probably have to restart steam to get it d/ling after they push it out.

I just finished it. It was fun.

 

i lurrrves the new shizzle. the crates are excellent. has anyone found and used the big fat gun?
fallen survivors dropping stuff is great on expert realism, running after him to kill him but trying not to go out of view of ur buddies, top job !

 

how did bill die? did they make him fill up the gas tank by himself?
they don't look sad at all. kind of disturbing.

i think it was pretty good.
i don't see why Bill had to die, but i guess l4d isn't much about the storyline.

think about the hard work developers put into this package for us, and for completely free too!

i actually enjoyed the Passing, its got me back into L4d2 love the golfclub and the M60 is a beast of a gun, going have to find a little more time per day to share between this and BC2.

Oh you mean like how Valve mocked L4D owners when they released the DLC they promised as a fully-priced incompatible sequel?

I thought we get to play as L4D 1 characters...meh...

It was a good but short campaign though...

I thought the story was really out there. Nothing was explain very well at all. The L4D1 crew was creepy emotionless etc and the story with Bill in game was never explained as well as why zombies would climb after me and not them. What was weirder was that I got the ending where Zoey goes "You think they're going to the mall?" That just geographically confuses me. Wasn't L4D1 in the north going south, so why would they go back?....

 

I thought they were in Philidelphia and moving to where ever.

In any case, I hope the Left 4 Dead DLC explains it better.
