    Do LAN's and gaming championships allow you to use laptops? like,... your own? or do u have to use their systems

    well it really depends..............most lans you bring your own stuff (at least in australia) so if you want to bring a laptop, by all means.

    but i would check with whoever is organising the lan as to whats aloud to be brought.

    Usually casual gamers in not-so prestigious championships will bring their on PC, laptop or desktop, when it gets a bit more professional usually they'll have a set up that the players use.

    EDIT: CAL-I matches are played at LANs? Why don't you ask over there?

    i'm pretty sure its on your own machine, but i would send an email to their enquires and double check..........
