    HI.

Im surprised. Yesterday i bought Splinter Cell 1 :D ... to my surprise, i experienced a weird gameplay. The FPS were not bad (20 or so fps), but the game run just like very slow, i mean, smooth gameplay but like 2x slower. Its like MATRIX

What can i do to solve this problem?

im sure that there are no programs in the back, no virus, defraged several times, cleaned every part of my lapppy....

    my specs are the followin..

    INTEL PENTIUM IV, 2,8Ghz
    512Mb RAM
    Intel 82852 graphics card.

    thanks :)

It is probably the Intel Integrated causing the problem. Intel Extreme isn't exactly great for games beyond maybe the year 1999, and especially not ones that were demanding for their time.

How many mb of ram does your 852 have? I agree that your IGP is most likely the problem.

To put things in perspective, after the 852 there has been the 855, 915 and 950 (I think) IGPs from Intel. Even the latest 950 is not capable of playing alot of even older games, let alone newer ones. Intel graphics are deigned primarily for use in the OS doing basic tasks using as little power as possible. They really aren't made for gaming!

    Sorry!
