    This was announced a few days ago, not sure if people saw it.
    But OLD players that have deactivated thier accounts can come back and play until August 24th for free. Just an FYI.


    Also you can get a sub for 9.99/mo now too.

    Hmm, if only I remembered where I left my LOTRO cd's i'd give it a shot. Guess I could check for a downloadable client.

    argh! Was thinking of trying it out again. It was one of my favorite's. Too bad I am going out of town and wouldn't have much time to play anyways.

    For the record, LotRO is much better than Age of Conan which did a similar "please-come-back-we're-begging-you" campaign last month.

    Ya I guess i'll give it a shot, though I disagree. Up until now I have liked AOC more than Lotro. Different tastes I guess, but right now to me both are a step above WOW.
