after not being totally satisfied with the latest vista 64 drivers from my 8800m GTX card, i want to roll back to a previous version.. but im not totally sure my methods are the right ones. can anyone help me out, is there a good way to do this that makes sure all drivers and files, registry keys, etc, are removed before reinstalling? Thanks!

Also, if anyone has a driver version to recommend for playing Crysis on an 8800m GTX in vista 64, that would be cool too.

The simple way, once you have the driver ready to install it is:
    1) Uninstall the previous driver (from the control panel on the add/remove programs)
    2) Restart
    3) Install the new driver
    4) Restart

There should not be a problem. Other people recommend a program to uninstall the drivers, which I don't recall, but so far I have used the method above and I have had no problems at all.

I usually go to device manager, uninstall the card drivers from there with delete the files ticked. then use a 3rd part program such as Driver Sweeper to get rid of registry entries/any remaining files
