I play a freeware game called La-Mulana, and it has two sets of music. A MIDI format, and a classic chiptune format that goes under the .sgt file extension. Problem is my computer can't play the chiptunes. I've looked in other places and it seems that people with vista have this same problem. Please help, as I want to hear the original music. :(

Oh, the OS I'm using is Vista Home Premium 64 bit.

Try running it in XP compatibility mode
(Right click then select it from the context menu)

Check a ways down the page for the Winamp plugin, or the standalone player. Those may work, if the file is actually a SGT file, and not just a similar format under the same name.

I'm also moving this thread to gaming, as that's where it belongs.

I downloaded the Winamp player, but the player can't create the needed file called FICECACH.LEN. What do I do now?

EDIT: I downloaded the plugin, and it says to make a new profile. How do I do that?

Okay, I just tried it on my old comp with Windows XP 32 bit and it works.

Does anyone think it could be the sound card?
