Hello Community.
Im new user and I'd like to share my opinions with you.
Im having difficulties with my laptop as it continues to overheat while playing games.
I have a Dell Inspiron N5110.. I do regular maintenance and take good care of it.
I dont have any idea of what could be happening, as it is optimized for games, i have set the PC specs to lowest and installed game booster and some other software.
Im aware of the overheating caused by the contact with the table/floor or whatever.
Hardware:
NVIDIA GeForce GT 525M7
Intel Core i7-26700QM CPU@ 2.29GHz
PS: fan working always, battery plan max processor is at 90%
Any ideas?

Is it recommended to do the overclocking? i just read it can go to 2.9Ghz , should improve a lot ? -
Thermal compound does degrade over time, not sure how old the machine is, but I still bet that's the problem.
Curious, has it always overheated or is this a new problem? -
telling us your temperatures would certainly help, cpu and gpu. do you clean out your vents and fans with compressed air.
also which software do you use to monitor? loads free in my sig below. -
repaste and reduce the turbo clocks, these laptops have a big problem of thermals..

Tsunade_Hime such bacon. wow
The N5110 has a inferior cooling system, carried over from the N5010. TBH it already could barely handle 35W i3/i5 CPUs, and throw in a quad core i7 and dGPU. Try a repaste and cleaning out the internals, but if it is clean there isn't much that can be done minus a radical cooling system upgrade.
