    Hi
I recently bought an ATI Radeon 3650 256MB for my acer aspire 5920G
According to the seller it came from a working HP Elitebook 8530P.

I assumed that since it was the same model it should work in the Acer too but it did not work at all.
Are these cards system specific? or will an HP 3650 never work with and Acer?
If so what is the difference and is there a way around it?
There is also the possibility that the card was not working at all in the HP.
My conclusion is that I was probably sold a defective GPU.

    thanks for the help

Seems to be defective if you ask me, given that the installation is done properly of course. This particular HP GPU works just fine in 5920G.
