This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    It's amazing to me no one has a proper product for laptop gaming.

    The one I did see from Hover X is too expensive and too lacking.

    I've decided next weekend's project is laptop gaming desk.
    - Large board. Large enough for a real 17" gaming/workstation and proper gaming mousepad.
    - Will integrate a laptop fan system.
    - Flat rubber for the front end of the laptop for traction.
    - Rear will use raised rubber for better venting.
    - Thin long pillows for comfort.

    How is this not a thing already? Something made for real workstation/gaming laptop! Has anyone else done this?
