Any ideas on why this happens. I always get a blue screen followed by restart after about 15-20mins tops. It is not heat as I have it on a cooler and monitored the temps - GPU under 70 and CPU under 60.

Odd I know! Help is appreciated

Had not problems playing other much more demanding games eg crysis for hours at once

Have you run it without any overclocks?

It's important to note what the BSOD says.

Assuming you have Windows Vista, right-click on Computer in the Start Menu, then click Properties. Then, in the left-hand column, click Advanced System Settings. Under Startup and Recovery, click Settings, and untick Automatically Restart under System Failure.

In XP, right click My Computer, then click Properties. Go to the Advanced tab. In the same way, under Startup and Recovery, untick Automatically Restart under System Failure.

it doesnt have to be the video card driver, any faulty driver can cause bsod.

Seems like I fixed it. Changed the sound provider from EAX 2 to miles emulated 3D in the options menu.

yep thats always a solution =), on a more serious note, i doubt warcraft 3 is the cause as it really cant stresses the components, but it is important to note down the error code from bosd.
btw, my desktop failed while I was playing diablo 2, yet the real cause was a hard drive failure, wouldnt have known if the BOSD didnt tell me the error code
