    Laptop chargers tip is black!

    Also, when I run kombustor, my laptop shuts down randomly, fwiw my laptop is not overheating. The chargers tip is very hot.

    Sounds like it is not making a good connection, like it is loose or just barely touching the other metal part. The laptop power port may have been damaged. This can happen when you lift the laptop with power connected and it gets caught, so it pulls on the power cord. Like when you try to walk away while connected. I would look at the laptop port and see if it can be fixed or replaced if it doesn't look right.

    Hmm, be careful not to short circuit your laptop. Try a new charger and see what happens.
