with the exchange rate it works out at £860
most of these clevo's are out of your price range but take a look at some of these clevo resellers http://forum.notebookreview.com/sager-clevo/652403-clevo-resellers-european-union-v1.html -
Hmmmm...WoT maxed out with at least 30 FPS? I don't think that's possible if your budget is 1000 EUR:
You would need at least a 680M or 7970M, neither of which you will find within that budget. Also keep in mind that WoT is very poorly optimized since the game engine is single-threaded (quite absurd in this day and age), which is why your choice of CPU is probably even more important than your choice of GPU. Since AMD CPU's have poor single-threaded performance, you would be better served by an Intel, the higher clock speed the better. Also, at least, based on Notebookcheck's results, the game seems to favor AMD GPU's a lot. -

Can't get over the disparity between the 680m and 7970m at 1080p. 20 fps, really? All the while neither can get 60 or over. Not good news for 680m owners such as myself.

WoT seems to really favor AMD GPU's, at least based on Notebookcheck's results. For example, desktop 7770 beating out 680M and 7660G (an APU) keeping up with the much faster discrete 650M

I play wot with a m18x with a single 7970m and get in the region of 60-90 fps.
Also keep in mind wot does not support crossfire/sli atm which is a bummer.

Also i play on a benq 2420t 120hz 24" monitor connected via dp 1.2 and this helps the fps in this demanding game...

Demanding isn't really the word for it. More like "lazily coded".

Don't know about CrossFire, but SLI works just fine in WoT.
They've got their hands tied though with the game engine being single-threaded as it is. -
check out the notebookcheck scores for WOT http://www.notebookcheck.net/Comput...&memorybus=0&directx=0&technology=0&daysold=0

Hmm, you can maybe try this MSI with 7970M for €850
MSI GX60 1AC-037NL - Laptopshop.nl -
That would not be a good laptop for WoT due to the very poor single-threaded performance of the AMD APU. The 7970m will be bottlenecked badly and performance will be underwhelming.
