    Laptop with GPU Intel 520 / AMD R7 M460.

Does everyone here just use the OEM website drivers designed for the laptop?

Does anyone have good/bad experience going directly to the Intel and AMD websites, downloading the latest drivers for each separately, then installing them separately?

Both the OEM drives and the newer ones should work but the OEM ones have been validated whereas the newer ones are a wildcard - you never know what they change and what it may break. It's why I still use the 2016 drivers for my 970M

Seems like that is what I am hearing back from other feelers that I put out. I wanted to try and solve a video playback issue by trying other drivers but I'll just stick with tweaking the video software's options.
