    Laptop to LCD TV

    ok so heres the issue!

    i have an clevo M570RU with 8700M GT, it has a VGA out and a DVI-D OUT. for audio it was a digital audio port. and the 3 usual sound ports.

    im trying to hook up my pc to my new tv and want to know what you think is the best way to achieve this! the TV will not accept rca or anything like that while in HDMI mode. and the TV also has a VGA Port with a audio cable paired to that input

    so far here are my choices for video
    DVI to HDMI then into HDMI port
    VGA directly into TV with Audio capability via 3.5mm jack
    DVI to VGA then into TV

    and for sound i could

    use pc surround sound system
    buy a reciever and run output from PC into it


    what woud you guys recommend for the best setup?

    what do you think about audio?

    use the pc surround sound? or use a reciever.

    since i only have an 8700M GT i know my DVI wont carry audio like the new ATI's and newer Nvidias
