    FINALLY!!! That would be a great improvement over having to mod a driver just to get it to work on hardware THEY designed in the first place.

    I really hope Dell lets this happen.

    I thought I read a while back that AMD would be directly providing Windows 7 drivers by last October, allowing end users to bypass the OEM? Or did that never materialize?

    Well, that would explain why Anandtech was recently praising Nvidia for their driver program while urging AMD to keep up.
