    Hi all,

I own a P151EM with 7970M and I use the latest Intel HD4000 driver with WHQL 13.1 7900M modded driver. The machine is stable but when it comes to games which only have 4:3 resolution, when I played them in full screen. the graphic just scales to fill the whole screen which makes it seems ridiculous.

I checked in CCC there is no such thing as the options for scaling, and in Intel graphic control panel, the scaling options is already set as " Maintain Display scaling" and it's the only options.

I hope that it can be set in order to leave 2 black borders even if the old games are run in full screen. Any help is appreciated.

Thank you for your reply. And yes they are all run on Intel HD4000 but the problem still exists.

I had the same issue when was using my HD 6970m. Scaling was working on my old ATI X1600m and i got a nice black frame around low resolution games.
On my 680m i made a custom resolution of 1440x1080 for my old non widescreen games.

    Yeah i miss my 1920x1200. :(
Could do 1600x1200 for older games.

Sorry for being offline for a long time. So I see the problem is the same for recent AMD GPUs' users. Now even I played them with Intel HD 4000, it's still the same, everything of:3 ratio just stretch to fill the whole HD screen...

Now my only solution is to low down my own resolution to play the old games...
