I am looking for a list of laptops that have faster 17 inch monitors. Even if it needs to be overclocked as long as its possible. It also has to have modern graphics, 860 or 960m or better.

The perfect laptop supports lightboost and 120hz.
But still interested in anything greater than 60hz.
Even interested in 3D monitors that can be forced to run 120hz 2d
Also interested in laptops with gysync.

    What are my options?

    My old Sammy gamer 7 has 120Hz, but it's a 675M.

All the G-Sync branded ones have 75Hz displays.

No, not necessarily. The 4k G-sync ones are only 60Hz. But to buy a laptop with a "fast" display you likely will have to buy the LCD yourself and install it.

Basically any laptop that has 3d will give you 120hz. For better grahics you can go with the older gaming laptop that has 3d with the 680m. Otherwise, like HTWing said, you will have to buy the lcd seperately and install it like what I did in my Alienware. Giving me a huge advantage in gaming. :)

"3D" monitors do not exist. 120Hz ones do. 3D emitter + 120Hz panel = 3D vision works. You'd have to buy an old model to use this, namely the P37xSM-A models. Unless buying from Eurocom (who offer the 120Hz panel) you'd need to buy the panel and eDP cable separately and install it yourself.
Ain't getting Gsync + 120Hz, at least not first party.

Your options are the Gsync laptops (the best performance-wise is the Clevo P770ZM-G) and the P37xSM-A with 120Hz panel. There's no other options on the market, and no new laptops with 120Hz panels exist. It may be possible to frankenstein a 120Hz panel into a P770ZM, but it will lack Gsync unless Prema manages to modify the gsync key in the BIOS to work with the 120Hz eDP panel.

If you feel like being a guinea pig for 120Hz in a P770ZM, you need to buy the P770ZM with the IPS panel so the eDP connector is definitely there (the P770ZM-G MUST have that IPS panel) and then buy separately a regular P770ZM LCD cover (the one that holds the Chi Mei and AUO panels) as the mounting orientation for the screws on the 120Hz panel is akin to the Chi Mei/AUO panels and differs from the IPS panel, and then replace the IPS panel (LP173WF4-SPF1) with the 120Hz panel (LP173WF2-TPB1) and the LCD cover for the IPS panel with the LCD cover for the LVDS panels, and then maybe you might have the perfect single GPU laptop.
