    Do any laptops currently exist with a full 1070 nomn maxq version and the new six core i7s? Which ones?

    Mine is a NP8157. This model existed in 2017 before the more expensive and downgraded clevo versions came about. It has full 1070 and all the specs u wud want!

    OP is asking for a laptop with a full GTX 1070. The Blade uses the less-powerful 1070 Max-Q.

    The P870 TM1 gives an 8700k or 8086K with a 1070 or 1080, but I think the P870 TM1 MAY be 1080 or 1080 SLI only. Check with HIDevolution.com to see for sure. If you do choose the 1080 (recommended), make sure you ask HID for the vapor chamber heatsink upgrade. HUGE temp improvement doing this. Huge.

    However if you're going to buy a P870 TM1, why are you robbing yourself by sticking an anemic 1070 in there? Grab a 1080 and go full tilt. Plus if you get the prema bios from hidevolution, it will ALSO be 9900K ready when you receive it. But you MUST buy it from a prema partner shop! Hidevolution is strongly recommended. Do not cheap out. Prema bios is the only way to avoid laptop power restrictions and artificial limitations.

    Getting a 1070 with the older DM3 wasn't too bad since you could even grab a MSI 1070 MXM card and TDP mod it to 230W TDP with the now out of date Pascal Bios editor (requires a hardware programmer and 1.8v adapter however), and even the Clevo 1080's could be modded too, but the cards that come with the TM1 cannot be TDP modded because the pascal editor is badly out of date. So you are MUCH advised to just get a gtx 1080 @ stock 200W and NOT a 115W 1070 at this point in time.

    the bios editor is still good if you got a compatible card and vbios rom :vbthumbsup:

    what settings do people configure their nvidia control panel to anyway?

    before i had my GPU set to quality and anything over 60-120fps would cause GPU temps to go up. But I tried putting it to High performance and it seems to be doing fine.
