    Launching a game results in black screen

    I have a new laptop, Samsung Series 9 NP900X3C (windows 8, 4gb ram, 128gb ssd, i5, intel hd graphics 4000)
    When I launch a game, I just get a black screen..
    For example Battlefield Heroes, which is not a very high spec game, gives me a black screen as soon as I try to join a game.. I have the same problem with other games that I just launched to test this...
    How can I solve this problem?
