Just bought the game and installed, defragged, etc. I get this error when I launch the game in Steam.

Anybody know how to fix this? I already went to the link and added the recommended -dxlevel 80 tag and it still displays the same error.
Still the same error after reinstalling. Already checked out the steam support website, still a no go.
I dont know what can I Do.

What GPU does your computer have? What is the exact error that shows, does it say anything?

An error launching is almost always a driver issue, or your video card just isn't fast enough.

try upgrading your driver and see if that does anything.

And telling us what your graphics card is would help, too.
