    Left 4 Dead randomly turning off

    I was playing left 4 dead a moment ago and i the safehouse was in sight. Then the game just disappeared. I checked task manager and and it wasn't in the processes now i've lost my progress. What happened?

    did you turn the multi-core thing off in the settings?
    that fixed crashes for me.

    It works fine for me even with the multi-core setting turned on but It does crash the game for my friend when it's on. Turning it off as Tenspeed33 said above might help. Probably some sort of clash or something o_O
