The title is an attempt to be funny just like the original was an attempt to be funny. Sue me.

Anyway, noticing people are talking abou the game in the Steam Deals page, and I thought I might as well do the same thing I did for the first game.

Anyway, the place you should be looking is l4dmaps.com. Always browse through here to see any new updates for a map you like. For the newbies, simply download the .rar file, unzip it, and place the .vpk file in the Left 4 Dead 2 addons folder (e.g. C:\Steam\steamapps\common\left 4 dead 2\left4dead2\addons).

Anyway, here's a list of campaigns that I've played and enjoyed well enough. I unfortunately haven't played as much with Element or Soviet, so no not-witty quotes here.

Remember that I haven't tried out every single campaign L4DMaps has to offer so try them all out.

Night Terror L4D2 Edition. Remake of the awesome "Night Terror". Fight your way through a mansion, a haunted, mansion, a jungle and... LOTR? Yup, that's right. You fight through LOTR. It's awesome, but extremely tough. Must Download.

Deadcity Campaign 2. Take the original Deadcity (which was an awesome campaign), and multiply the awesomeness by no less than five. You get this campaign. The creators didn't just port this; they used new gameplay aspects from Left 4 Dead 2 to make this a much better experience. Must Download.

No Space 4 Zombies. This map was what "Coald Blood" from L4D1 was supposed to be. The beginnings stages are much the same, but it'll split off into a completely distinct campaign. Basically you fight your way through some underground complex. And, I kid you not, the rescue vehicle is the most epic one I've ever seen. Must Download.

Left 4 Cake 2. Remake of "Left 4 Cake." Interesting puzzles. Makes you want to tear your hair out because of them

Dead on Time 2. Remake of "Dead on Time". Decent campaign.

Fort Noesis. Short, three-map campaign, but intense.

Freezer Burn. Super intense campaign centered around a snowed-in skyscraper. That happens to be burning. It's almost like "Hard Rain" in that you have to backtrack. The Tank is automatically reskinned into a Yeti-looking thing that caused my computer to crash (but not Elements). Also, if you leave the addon campaign active, the Tank might still crash the game when you play another map.

Dead Dispatch. Awesome map. The finale is well set up, too.

Death Aboard 2. Remake of "Death Aboard". Just as awesome as the original. Not much is changed except that you have daylight on certain maps.

Arena Of The Dead 2. Remake of "Arena Of The Dead". 4-map, intense campaign. I like how the finale was set up.

Diescraper Redux. Nice 3-map campaign. The finale is a bit strange, since I could never figure out how to trigger the rescue vehicle on my own, but still a great campaign.

Dead Echo 2. Remake of "Dead Echo". Not a bad campaign, but it didn't stand out to me like some others.

Welcome To Hell. Nice, long, fun campaign. Give it a shot.

2 Evil Eyes L4D2. Swamp map with some interesting twists and turns. Finale was a bit easy. but hey, it wasn't boring.

Pasiri. This is one truly trippy map. Also interesting in that your scavenging missions don't involve gas cans, but cola. Which is apparently poisonous, since when you deposit it into the chute you hear a Witch die.

    Nice list.

I have seen some videos with people playing these. They look like a lot of fun.

To bad I don't own the second game (I feel it should of been a add-on instead of a whole new game), otherwise I would try these out.

Gives me a reason to get on there. I lost interest in the game fast, it was too repetitive and I was already burned out on the first game so the second game did not really bring anything new to the table.

    New maps however sound fun.

I need to fire up eyefinity for some game time anyways.

P.S. Is it a bad thing that I was able to figure out your acronym for your user title Forge? :D What anime is that anyways?

The 'I Hate Mountains' campaign is supposed to be quite good, but hasn't been ported to L4D2 yet. Also see a decent number of people playing a map called 'Escape from City 17', though I haven't tried that either.

Not a bad thing at all, haha.

Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha A's (The season right after Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha. Despite the name, it not really a magical girl show. It's a show where the main characters, who might technically be magical girls, blow stuff up. With prejudice.

The demographic is actually geared towards older males, coincidentally.

Double clicking the .vpk file should automatically install it.

I believe to trigger the rescue vehicle you have the turn on the power generator/switch or something after doing the hoards/tanks when you hit the radio(the switch should be on the upper parts of the level near an ammo cache and vent access).
BTW, for those who haven't played the map, make sure to explore the heliopad when you get to the top. Something very unique happens there ;)

Another fun map is Zombies of the Caribbean. Two ways to complete it(walk it or take a boat ride-yes a boat ride). It is short but very creative.

    @ViciousXUSMC
Make sure to try the different game types(Realism/versus etc) and remember that there is usually a new mutation mode each week which is nice...so far the mutations have been pretty fun and pretty creative(or sadistic depending on how you look at it).

    First post updated.

Just tried out Pasiri. This is one truly trippy map. Also interesting in that your scavenging missions don't involve gas cans, but cola. Which is apparently poisonous, since when you deposit it into the chute you hear a Witch die.
